Meet the Team

  • Dr.
    Richard B. Clark

I was born in Leesburg, as were my parents, and have grown up in Leesburg. I attended Leesburg High School and graduated from Lake Sumter Community College. I then went on to the University of Central Florida where I graduated with a bachelor's degree of Science in Biology. I attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a one year clinical rotation at Kansas State University. I have worked at Northgate Animal Clinic since July of 1998 and purchased the practice in January of 1999. I have owned and raised Chinese Shar-Pei since 1987. Raising and showing my dogs is what gave me the love for caring for animals. I have been blessed over the years to have great clients, a dedicated staff, and supportive family and friends.

  • Brittany

Hello there, my name is Brittany! Ever since I was a little girl, I had a passion for saving animals. It seemed that they were drawn to me just as I was drawn to them. Flash forward to 2015, I began my dream job of working in veterinary medicine. I started as a full-time technician, learning the ins and outs of the field and with a lot of long days, some good and some bad and hard work, I was promoted to my current title as manager. This transition into management is to maintain a positive work environment. My love for this profession and my passion for helping animals and building trust with our clients, has helped me to get to where I am today. In 2017, I married my best friend, Michael. We have a beautiful adventurous little girl named Everleigh. We also have a very spoiled pitbull named Kado aka Pig

  • Ann

My name is Ann. I was born and raised in a small town outside of Princeton, NJ. I was introduced to the love of pets at a very young age, when a tiny kitten showed up outside of our family home. My father, the wise man that he was, said, “ do not feed her or she wont leave”. Fluffy lived with us for 18 years, traveling throughout the lower 48 states and most of the Canadian Provinces. My work career started with horses, first with saddle-bred show horses, then at a standard bred breeding farm. In 1984, we moved to Florida along with 3 dogs, 4 cats, and one horse. I met my husband Ron in 1984 and we will be celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary in December. I started working at Northgate, with Dr. Young, in 1987. I was “sold” with the building when Dr. Clark bought the practice in 1999. I love my job here at Northgate, as a vet tech. I live in Lady Lake with my husband and 7 cats.

  • Tonia

Hello Everyone! My name is Tonia. I started with Northgate Animal Clinic in 2016. As a child, I grew up on a farm and now I live on 10 beautiful acres where I have 4 horses, a lot of chickens and my 3 tiny dogs. Living on a farm as a child made me realize that helping and working with animals, small and large, is my calling.

As a full-time tech here at Northgate Animal Clinic, I also have had the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of assisting with surgery. My goal is to give 100% in the care that each pet is cared for as if it were my own. I love the relationship that I have with each and every client and their pets, and again my goal as a tech is to make sure that every client leaves our office 100% satisfied. In my spare time and on the weekends, I go horseback riding, fishing and work on the farm and in my flower garden. I thank Dr. Clark and Northgate Animal Clinic every day for making my dream come true.

  • Chelsea

Hi! My name is Chelsea and I’ve been here at Northgate Animal Clinic since February 2018. Becoming a veterinary technician allowed me to pursue my passion of working with animals.

When I’m not seeing patients, you can find me at home with my family or managing my rescue, Triple C Pit Bull Rescue of Central Florida. I live with my other half, Chad, and our two children Cadence and Cohen out on a farm in Dunnellon. We have five dogs( Diamond, Turbo, Kane, Stella and Thor), three cats ( Smokey, Taser and Cleo)and four goats.

  • Madison

Hi! My name is Madison. No, I don’t have a square garden…but my hair may be just as bright! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, from 4-H when I was 5 years old to FFA throughout high school. Ever since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of working with animals. Here I am, living my dream! I started working at Northgate in 2019, and it’s dangerous!! When I started, I only had one dog and two cats. Now I have two and four!!

  • Lexi

Hello, my name is Lexi and let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have always had a passion for animals. I have been involved in 4H since 2014 and that is what really sparked my interest in working with animals and pursued me to start my career at Northgate Animal Clinic. I have a dog named Max, who is really just an 80lbs teddy bear, and we also have several cows that we show.

  • Tiffani

Hi! My name is Tiffani! While I’m not caring for your furry friends here at Northgate Animal Clinic, I take care of my two beautiful young daughters, Piper and Paisley and my wonderful husband Chris on our farm in Eustis. We have lots of chickens, a few goats, a pig , a cat, a rabbit and fish! I'm a huge fan of football. Especially the Steelers and FSU! I also have a slight obsession with plants and all things outdoors! Have a great day!

  • Erin

Hi! I'm Erin and my favorite part of being your receptionist at Northgate Animal Clinic is seeing your happy faces and eager pets as you first come in! Getting you an appointment at your earliest convenience is always my goal.

If I’m not at the office helping you, I’m either at home with my other half, Josh, with our two amazing daughters or we are enjoying some sun on our boat. I have 3 pets, Hagen, our dog, Charles the cat and Stanley the beta fish.
