Meet the Team

I was born in Leesburg, as were my parents, and have grown up in Leesburg. I attended Leesburg High School and graduated from Lake Sumter Community College. I then went on to the University of Central Florida where I graduated with a bachelor's degree of Science in Biology. I attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a one-year clinical rotation at Kansas State University. I have worked at Northgate Animal Clinic since July of 1998 and purchased the practice in January of 1999. I have owned and raised Chinese Shar-Pei since 1987. Raising and showing my dogs is what gave me a love for caring for animals. I have been blessed over the years to have great clients, a dedicated staff, and supportive family and friends.  

Hello there, my name is Brittany! Ever since I was a little girl, I had a passion for saving animals. It seemed that they were drawn to me just as I was drawn to them. Flash forward to 2015, I began my dream job of working in veterinary medicine. I started as a full-time technician, learning the ins and outs of the field and with a lot of long days, some good and some bad, and hard work, I was promoted to my current title as manager. This transition into management is to maintain a positive work environment. My love for this profession and my passion for helping animals and building trust with our clients have helped me to get to where I am today. In 2017, I married my best friend, Michael. We have a beautiful adventurous little girl named Everleigh. We also have a very spoiled pitbull named Kado aka Pig who rescued a beagle named Hank, they fit right into the family!

Hello! My name is Abigail (or Abby as some people call me) I have always been drawn toward animals and pretty much everyone I knew thought I would someday work with them. In pre-school I even wrote down how I wanted to be working with animals as a career, well here I am living my dream! When I am not working I am mostly singing, writing, or doing something creative. At home I have two dogs. A lovable pitbull named Bleu and my sweet shih-Tzu named Marshmallow. I am so happy to be at Northgate and can not wait to meet all of your cute and lovable fur babies!

Hello, my name is Ally. When I'm not at Northgate giving your fur babies all of my love and attention, I'm at home loving my two small children, Jeremy & Miley! Also my two pups, Iris & Gracie. In my free time, I enjoy being on the water or reading a book. I am so excited to meet all of your furry family members!

Hi, my name is Rylan. I was born and raised in Weirsdale, Florida. I am currently a student at University of Central Florida working to get a veterinary degree. I like to read, fish and ride my horse in my free time and can't wait to help your furry family!!

Hello! My name is Katie. I was born in northern New Jersey and have been here in Florida since the summer of 2023. In my free time, I am either with my sister and her two children or cuddling with my two cats, Annie &Charlie. I have always had a passion for animals, and I cannot wait to work with you and your pets.

Hello, My name is Selena. I just want to start off by saying how grateful I am for this opportunity to work at Northgate animal clinic. Working here is preparing me for my future career as a veterinarian. I am currently attending Santa Fe college then will be later transferring to UF where I will hopefully get my veterinary degree. My love for animals started when I was little and grew from there. The more I get to see your amazing pets the more I fall in love with working with animals. Can't wait to take care of your furry family members, and continue working with an amazing group at Northgate. Knock on wood it's only once a year I get to interact/ take care of your loving pets.

Hi my name is Carly. I've been in the Vet med world going on 6 years now! I always knew at a young age I wanted to work with animals, and I'm so grateful that Northgate Animal Clinic has given me the opportunity to advance in being more hands on and helping expand my veterinary knowledge. When I'm not at work, I'm at home hanging out with my husband and our pets. We have Lucky the opossum, Diesel the Ferret, and my 2 kitties Cotton and Pearl. Can't wait to help your pets feel better!

Hi, I'm Nancy and I'm back like I never left! Like Dr. Clark, I am also a Leesburg Native. I have been fortunate enough to work with animals for the last 30+ years and I still love it! In my life I have owned and cared for many types of animals including, pocket pets, reptiles, fish &birds and of course dogs & cats. My special interests include dog training, dietary concerns, small parrot & aquarium husbandry. I first worked for Northgate in 2009 for 10 years, and recently returned. I'm so happy to be 'home' and see so many old friends. I share my home with Poppett the Quaker Parrot & Fiona and Tiffany, the Chihuahua sisters.
